AAPS Continuing Medical Education

AAPS Continuing Medical Education Mission

The mission of the AAPS Continuing Medical Education (CME) program is to improve the quality of care in clinical areas represented by the association’s constituent Academies.

The objectives of the association’s CME program for individual members are to:

  • Provide quality learning opportunities important to the practice of medicine.
  • Offer skills training that will enhance the medical practice.
  • Provide instructional resources that will meet external requirements for licensure and practice privileges.
  • Provide opportunities for recertification requirements.

AAPS Accreditation Statement

The American Association of Physician Specialists, Inc. (AAPS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. AAPS takes responsibility for the content, quality, and scientific integrity of the CME activities.
