All Diplomates with certifications expiring in 2012, or later, must complete an approved Medical Ethics course(s) as part of their recertification requirements. For more information about this requirement, see “Medical Ethics Requirement”.
2012 AAPS MEDICAL ETHICS COURSE DATES
The AAPS Medical Ethics Course is a one-day intensive course that provides a solid conceptual grounding in medical ethics with a focus on practical issues and proven tools and approaches for resolution. Breakfast and lunch are provided for all participants.
- The American Association of Physician Specialists, Inc. is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
- The American Association of Physician Specialists, Inc. designates this live activity for a maximum of 7.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This course is offered during the 2012 Annual Scientific Meeting. Enrollment for this course is open to all current and recertifying Diplomates regardless of certification expiration year.
Information regarding the 2012 Annual Scientific Meeting, including a schedule of events, details of all the offered CME sessions, destination information and registration forms will be mailed to all active members by December 2011. This information will also be posted at “AAPS Annual Meeting”.
