AAPS Membership Requirements
Membership in the American Association of Physician Specialists, (AAPS) requires physicians to hold a medical license and agree to abide by the Code of Ethics of the association, which require, in part, physicians to maintain the highest standards of personal conduct, promote and encourage the highest level of medical ethics.
Age, sex, race, religion, national origin, handicap, marital status and sexual orientation shall have no significance with regard to consideration of the application for AAPS membership for a qualified individual.
Every year, all members are required to sign a statement verifying their medical license to practice is in “good standing” and not been convicted of a felony.
